"Senior Population Soars"- Baltimore Sun Article Highlights the Our Changing Demographic


Though we have many heartwarming stories that are in store for our readers, this week's blog was put on hold because of an article published on the front page of the Baltimore Sun. [You can read the article here].

The article quotes a variety of statistics that show the numbers of Maryland's aging population to be doubling year after year. These statistics should be a reminder to us that our volunteers are needed now more than ever. As our population ages in place, we are grateful to have a solution that not only addresses the needs of our aging population, but allows us to form a more close-knit community.
